The Coaching Journey is our year-long community events format for coaches who want to keep growing through learning, practice, and connection. Throughout the year, we gather in a steady rhythm of Masterclasses and Coaching Dojos, each focused on a key coaching competence. Masterclasses deepen understanding and perspective; Coaching Dojos turn learning into embodied practice through real conversations and feedback.

The Coaching Journey is designed as a full-year journey, supporting sustainable growth over time. At the same time, sessions are open to guests and alumni, allowing you to join a Masterclass and Coaching Dojo around your chosen topic whenever you want. Whether you step in for one pair of sessions or walk the path with us all year, you’re warmly welcome into our global coaching community.

What turns good coaching into lasting change? These sessions look at impact on two levels: across the whole coaching process, and within a single coaching conversation. The two parts build on each other, but each has its own focus:

Masterclass – the coaching process

In the Masterclass, we zoom out to the full coaching journey: how a process begins, how to keep momentum and depth alive over time, and how to bring it to a meaningful close. We’ll start from your own experience of impactful coaching processes, share ideas in small groups and round off with trainers’ tips from years of practice.

You can expect:

• A clearer picture of what makes a coaching process impactful – from the first conversation to the final follow-up

• ROSA through two lenses: within a single session and across the whole process

• Ways to start well, from the “sales session” and three-way meetings to contracting

• Ways to maintain momentum and re-contract along the way

• Ideas for closing a process meaningfully – follow-up, feedback and celebrating progress

  
  

Part 2: Coaching Dojo – one full conversation

In the Dojo, we zoom in. This is a low-threshold opportunity to practice, learn and refresh your coaching through one full ROSA 2.0 / 2.5 coaching conversation, exploring what creates direction, depth and impact within a single session. You can expect:

• Real coaching practice in a full ROSA 2.0 / 2.5 conversation

• Structured, targeted feedback on the ICF Core Competencies of your choice

• Reflection on what makes one conversation truly count – and how it serves the bigger journey

Each Masterclass session will be recorded (Dojos where applicable), so you can watch it anywhere anytime in case you would happen to miss it.

Together, the masterclass and dojo form a complete learning cycle: insight, practice, reflection, integration. The sessions will be hosted and facilitated by our Master Coach Trainers Pauliina Hallama and Anna-Riikka Kärnä.

Participation options

These sessions are part of the Coaching Journey, a year-long program, and members of the Journey are automatically enrolled, so no separate sign-up is needed.
